Heritage on Wheels

Heritage on Wheels is a new luxury train that will take you through the colorful kaleidoscope of Shekhawati region in Rajasthan. Modelled on immensly popular Palace on Wheels, this train will start and end at Jaipur and run twice a week for four days.

A joint venture with Indian Railway, Heritage on Wheels is the second luxury train being run by RTDC (Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation) and expected to take care of the rising number of tourists. The new train will cover places like Navalgarh, Churu and other places in Shekhawati famous as the "open air gallery" for its traditional paintings on the walls of old havelis and palaces. The 4-day package will include package would include services of well-trained guides, sight-seeing, camel safaris, horse rides and visits to palaces and famous havelis in the desert state

Heritage on Wheels will have 14 air-conditioned coaches with a capacity of 100 passengers. All the coaches of the train were earlier part of the royal carriages of erstwhile maharajas of India.
